1796 Draped Bust Dime. JR-2. Rarity-4. Fair-2 (PCGS). The date, legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and eagle are the boldest features on this originally preserved olive-gray example. Pleasingly smooth in hand for the assigned grade, this is a suitable, if well circulated example of one of the scarcer die marriages of the historic 1796 dime. PCGS# 4461. NGC ID: 236B.
