(Hong Kong) Beginning June 1st 2017, Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) will revise some services and fees. Among the changes are two key revisions: 1. The issue year of modern coins will be prolonged from 1979 to 1955, 2. The banknote grading service will change. All PCGS Collectors Club members and dealers will benefit from the changes, as they will make submissions easier.
The changes are listed below:
-
The issue year of modern coins will be prolonged from 1979 to 1955, bringing more benefits and convenience to collectors. For example, for Chinese one cent coins issued in 1955 and with an appraisal price of USD300 or less, you may choose modern non-gold coin service level, at a rate of USD 16 /piece, which is USD 6 less than that of the former economy service level.
