PCGS to attend HKCS in August

(Hong Kong) - Professional Coin Grading Service (www.PCGSasia.com) will offer collectors and dealers the opportunity to submit their coins and world banknotes for authentication, grading and certification before and during the August 2018 Hong Kong Coin Show (HKCS). HKCS will be held at the 18th floor of Mira Hong Kong, 118 Nathan Road, Tsimshatsui, Kowloon from August 10th to 12th. PCGS Booth Numbers are F8-F10.

Coin and Banknote On-site Grading Service

This will be an excellent opportunity for PCGS Collectors Club members and PCGS Authorized Dealers to have their coins and banknotes graded by PCGS.

*Extra $10 handling fee per order will be charged if customer prefers to pick up at the show floor. And this is non-refundable.

How to Submit:

1. Submit to PCGS Hong Kong Office: You may drop off coin/banknote submissions before Friday, August 10th 2:00 pm at PCGS Hong Kong Office.
2. Submit on-site at HKCS Show: You may drop off coin submissions before Friday, August 10th 2:00 pm at HKCS PCGS Booth. PCGS Booth Numbers are F8-F10.

Submissions received after the cutoff date will be graded on the next Hong Kong Express shipment on August 22th.

How to Pickup:

Premium or higher service level coin submission received by 2 pm on August 10th (Friday) and banknote submission with value or higher service level by Friday, August 3rd will be available for pickup at HKCS show, PGGS booth on August 12 (Sunday).

PCGS will make every attempt to grade all coins submitted to on-site grading event, PCGS prioritized grading submissions based on two criteria: the Service Level of submissions and the Date the submissions were received. PCGS begins grading coins submitted at the highest service level to the lowest. Coins submitted at Premium service level or above are guaranteed for on-site grading return.

Submissions beyond the deadline may not be retrieved during the Coin Show. However, we will accept submissions of other service levels. Please contact PCGS representative for approximate time of return.

Meet PCGS Expert

During 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. on August 11, collectors will have the opportunity to meet PCGS experts at HKCS to discuss coins.

PCGS Seminar

PCGS will hold an industry seminar from 15:15 to 16:45 on August 12 in the multi-function hall on the third floor of Miramar Hotel. Please join us and have in-depth communication and discussion on relevant topics

PCGS Summer Promotion

·         PCGS will provide free paper currency grading service during HKCS. For any paper currency of modern (1961 – present) service level submitted to PCGS booth at HKCS, 10 paper currencies in maximum can be graded for free ($10 processing fee shall be paid for each evaluation form).

All PCGS members and authorized dealers can participate in this activity. The free grading service is limited on the first-come, first-served basis. All paper currencies for free grading will be graded with the Hong Kong express submission service on August 22.

·         Other special offers, PCGS crossover special offer and modern coin grading special offer are only held for a limited period. For 25 or more coins on a single evaluation form, $1 processing fee can be waived for each coin. The deadline of special offer is August 12, 2018.

·         A variety of special labels are open to modern coins. If 5 modern coins with the same theme are submitted on a single submission form, you’ll get a special label for free. For details, please contact PCGS representative.
