Lot Description

A lovely, frosty, mint fresh looking PQ GEM. A strong, untoned silver luster blooms all over with a satiny vibrance. The details are sharply struck up and the quality is clean and generally very pleasing, even though we note a minor scuff on the cheek. An example that ranks high on the PCGS Population Report and from a lower mintage of 695,080. PCGS 13, NGC 5. Its been four years since a non-CAC PCGS example sold in auction, more recently CAC-approved examples have brought $5,040, in line with the current Collectors Universe value of $5,000.
