Lot Description

An untoned Superb Gem, both sides allow full appreciation of a universally brilliant mint finish. With a razor sharp strike and nary a distracting blemish, the desirability of this coin for high grade type purposes should not be lost on astute collectors. Of course, the rarity of the circulation strike 1885 nickel in the finer Mint States grades also confirms the significance of this Proof for high quality date purposes.
