(t) CHINA. Sinkiang. Dollar, 1949. NGC AU-53. L&M-843; K-1275; KM-Y-46.5; WS-1328. "One yuan" filled in; pointed-base "1" with long serif; "1-9-4-9" in Chinese characters. A SCARCER and more difficult variant with the date appearing in Chinese characters as well, this lightly handled specimen exhibits some minor striking weakness, but retains a subtle color with some hints of brilliance.
