A deeply toned and pleasingly original GEM example of this early date Proof three cent silver. Pleasingly smooth, watery mirrors gleam through a rich blend of multicolored toning. The eye appeal is quite pleasing. Only 800 Proofs were struck. PCGS 25, NGC 21. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $2,650 and we believe this GEM will see spirited bidding. The last non-CAC NGC-graded coin sold in a much weaker market over four years ago. Scarce finer. Cert. Number 557477-007 PCGS # 3708
