This satiny example is lightly toned in mottled champagne-pink and powder blue iridescence that is more pronounced on the reverse. Well defined for this challenging issue with most features boldly to sharply defined. This 1927-S Walking Liberty half dollar is a conditionally scarce Mint State survivor from a mintage of 2,392,000 pieces. Like the 1923-S and 1928-S, the 1927-S was heavily circulated and can be elusive even in the lowest Mint State grades. With Gems rare, this Choice example offers good value for astute bidders.
