Lot Description

Tompkins Die Stage 2/2. The lightly toned pearl gray reverse contrasts with a pewter gray obverse enhanced by peripheral olive-blue iridescence. Hairlines and a somewhat subdued appearance point to an old cleaning, which is offset by a lack of sizeable or otherwise singularly distracting marks. Boldly struck in an EF example of this die pairing.
