1809 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-102. Rarity-1. XXXX Edge. AU-58 (PCGS). Light cream-silver with soft golden toning at the borders. Well struck and attractive with only minute signs of circulation and no singularly distracting blemishes or flaws. Abundant cartwheel luster in the fields and only a touch of wear on the high points. With Mint State examples of this edge variety being exceedingly rare, the offered Choice About Uncirculated coin is a significant representative for the advanced collector. Provenance: From the Richard Jewell Collection. PCGS Population: 11; 6 finer (MS-64 finest). PCGS# 6093. NGC ID: 24ES. Click here for certification details from PCGS.
