CHINA. Dollar, ND (1927). PCGS AU-58. L&M-49; K-608; KM-Y-318a; WS-0160. Variety with six-pointed stars flanking "MEMENTO". This particular example exhibits a slightly doubled obverse die, most readily visible in the right floral and adjacent beads. Faint traces of circulation but no hairlines or other abuse. We sold another Memento dollar with a doubled die obverse (SBP HK, August 2019, lot 53480) but it was doubled in a different area. Estimate: $150 - $300.
