Impressive, CHOICE AU quality surfaces are highly lustrous, retaining much original mint brilliance. The details are very well impressed and are brought out by a lovely orange gold coloration. There are a few tiny scattered ticks and marks but they do not detract from the great overall eye appeal. The only New Orleans mint Type II gold dollar, and a popular issue thus. PCGS 87, NGC 142, CAC 17. This lovely coin was the most recent PCGS AU55 CAC example to sell, realizing $2,820 in our July 2021 Regency Auction. Today, the CAC CPG value is listed at $3,620 and the PCGS Price Guide is $3,000. We expect strong bidding when this coin makes its appearance on the block. Good luck! Cert. Number 41800012 PCGS # 7535
