CHINA. Kiangsu. 5 Cash, ND (1901). PCGS MS-63 BN Secure Holder. CL-KS.12; CCC-234; Y-158; Duan-1704. Blundered legend "EIVE CASH" but all come this way. Five cash are scarce compared to ten cash as the mints found the larger denomination more profitable. A filled die prevented many of the dragon scales from being struck up; otherwise even brown toning with only trivial marks. Estimate: $350 - $500. Provenance: From the Q. David Bowers Collection.
