HAWAII. 1/2 Dollar (Hapalua), 1883. San Francisco Mint. Kalakaua I. PCGS EF-45. KM-6; Medcalf-Russell 2CS-4. This handsome example of the constantly demanded Hawaiian half dollar provides much detail and attractive surfaces. Very light circulation is present, being seen most notably on the finer features of the portraiture.
