(t) CHINA. Hupeh. 7 Mace 2 Candareens (Dollar), ND (1895-1907). PCGS AU-58 Gold Shield. L&M-182; K-40; KM-Y-127.1; WS-0873. Doubled Die Obverse (DDO) variety. Sparkling luster resides in the fields with soft golden tone appearing over both sides. Close inspection of the dragon side reveals moderate doubling through PROVINCE as well as the nearby clouds and dragon's claw. Estimate: $1,200 - $1,600.
