1784 "Machin's Mills" Halfpenny. Vlack 14-84A, W-8130. Rarity-5+. GEORGIVS III. Fine-12. 92.44 grains. Deep golden tan surfaces on a thin planchet. Obverse legend spaced GEORG IVS IIIREX with a tall, thin portrait facing right. Obverse rim through GEOR and tight to the tops of GIVS, reverse rim through BRITAN. No heavy marks present. Sharpness finer than Fine-12 in places, far weaker in others. Choice overall despite some minor drawbacks. PCGS# 935.
