- 1872 Two-Cent Piece. Proof-65 RB (NGC). A satiny and partially reflective, rose-orange and tan example, one of "950+" such pieces struck according to the Guide Book. Only 65,000 circulation strikes of the date were produced, so some collectors rely on high quality Proofs for completion of their date runs. Choice for the grade and aesthetically appealing throughout, a fleeting opportunity. PCGS# 3649. NGC ID: 2752. Click here for certification details from NGC.
