Lot Description

Adorned with delicate champagne-gold and pinkish-rose peripheral toning, this smooth, satiny Gem is exceptionally well preserved for a Mint State 1890 Morgan dollar. A lovely worthy of the strongest bids.<p>Although multiple thousands of Uncirculated 1890 Morgan dollars have been certified, the vast majority of these range between MS-62 and MS-64; MS-65 examples are relative scarce, and specimens grading MS-66 are extremely rare. This is one of the very finest known to PCGS, and it will serve with distinction in one of the finest Morgan dollar sets currently being assembled.
