An important Carson City rarity. Only 35,480 were struck for circulation and these are extremely rare in high grade. Even in problem free VF grades there are less than four dozen graded combined between PCGS and NGC. Light to moderate, even wear has left the surfaces unmarred. Retaining bold definition and a hint of luster clinging to the protected areas. Rich, slate toning has hints of gold and apricot patina. The eye appeal is great for the grade. PCGS 16, NGC 0. The last one to sell realized $4,086 in September 2020, and the current Collectors Universe value is listed at $5,500.
