One of the most beautiful designs to appear on any coin, and certainly in in the entire U.S. series, St. Gaudens' masterpiece is a stunning type. The design elements are sharply struck for a full 3-D effect. Rich golden luster really gleams in the smooth, high end for the grade surfaces. While we make no guarantees, we have seen 64s that are not this nice! PCGS 981, NGC 300, CAC 110. PCGS has graded 8 coins in MS63+, NGC 17. None of the MS63+s that have sold in auction were CAC approved. The last CAC-approved MS63 to sell in auction was graded by PCGS, and sold for $25,200. This coin really is worthy of a premium bid!
