Bank roll fresh! Thick, creamy, satiny frost gleams boldly throughout the surfaces of this SUPERB Wartime nickel. The palest golden iridescent tone glitters in the light accenting the high end quality surfaces. The steps are fully and crisply rendered and the rest of Monticello's details show nicely as well. The eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 28, NGC 3. The last one sold in our July 2020 Regency Auction, from the famed Incline Collection. Prior to that, one sold for $3,360 and the current Collectors Universe value is $3,000. There are only 16 graded higher, 14 of which are MS67+ FS, suggesting there is some duplication in hopes of getting a 68 grade. Bound for a great set. Cert. Number 42131252 PCGS # 84027.00
