- 1844 Liberty Quarter Eagle. MS-60 (NGC). Light yellow gold with some deeper gold overtones. From a relatively low original mintage of 6,784 pieces. A scarce issue that becomes very rare in mint state grades. Just three pieces have been graded finer by NGC. Overall, an exceptional example of this date.
