CHINA. Fantasy Dollar, Year 1 (1916). NGC MS-62. K-B48; Bruce-1385; cf.WS-1349-60. Yuan Shih-kai as Hung Hsien on horseback. Most examples seen exhibit impairments of one sort or another, with this one being one of the few surviving original examples. Extremely well struck with high relief characteristics to the horse and horseman. Soft satin luster with just a light veneer of tone. Estimate: $2,000 - $3,000. NGC MS-62.
