Truly a memorable example of the Arrows, Stars Obverse Liberty Seated dime design of 1853 to 1855, and a coin that would make a particularly special addition to a high grade type set. The * designation from NGC for superior eye appeal was awarded for the toning, which takes the form of blended steel-rose, reddish-russet, olive-gold and powder blue iridescence on the obverse. The reverse has even more pronounced target-like toning with halos of reddish-russet, olive-gold and cobalt blue iridescence framing a brilliant center. Intensely lustrous and frosty with razor sharp striking detail rounding out an impressive list of physical attributes. A Gem of the first rank that will sell for a strong premium to an advanced toning enthusiast.
