A wonderfully original example with dominant deep honey-olive color on both sides. Tinges of playful iridescent pinkish-rose toning are also present to further enhance the eye appeal. The design elements remain sharply to fully rendered and allow full appreciation of this iconic design. Lustrous for the grade with strong visual appeal and undeniable technical merits, this is a lovely Choice AU offering for the celebrated High Relief type of Augustus Saint-Gaudens' beautiful double eagle.
