THE B.S.T. COLLECTION A fabulous N-7. Well struck from a middle die state with a rim cud by Star 13, this coin is tied for CC#6 for this Rarity-1 die pairing. Boldly lustrous surfaces show off a very pleasing deep, steely brown patina. The details are needle sharp and the surfaces are devoid of any serious contact. The color is deep and the eye appeal is very pleasing overall. Ex McCawley & Grellman's Joe Dooley Sale, January 1997, lot 417; from "S.M."; unknown intermediaries; our consignor. Collector envelopes with attribution and pedigree notes included. PCGS 59, NGC 68, CAC 21. The current CAC CPG value is $1,290 and the PCGS Price Guide value is $1,200. This is a great coin that will make a great addition to your type or date set. Cert. Number 43939605 PCGS # 1735
