Lot Description

Breen Die State I. Somewhat dusky surfaces exhibit a tinge of flint gray to dominant copper-brown patina. The surfaces are microgranular with scattered marks, although no sizeable or otherwise singularly mentionable blemishes are seen. The upper left reverse periphery is softer than elsewhere, but with bold detail to most major design elements this is a suitable circulated representative of a classic key date issue in the early copper series.
