R-7+ 4-6 Minted. Struck in aluminum with a reeded edge. Only some minor oxidation is visible (typical to aluminum coins). Overall, the mirrors are strong and actually are defect free. Miss Liberty and the details do exhibit light roughness. They are also fully struck and have thick frost. The eye appeal is just fine. PCGS 1, NGC 0. Mr. Simpson paid $7,700 for this coin in 2008 when he bought the huge, $36,000,000 Pattern Collection. We are much more realistic today with our estimates. Still a neat and VERY rare coin!
