An Impressive Select Mint State Dollar Struck from Heaton Mint Dies CHINA. Kwangtung. 7 Mace 2 Candareens (Dollar), ND (1890-1908). PCGS MS-63. L&M-133; K-26; KM-Y-203; WS-0941. Heaton Mint dies with small rosettes. Sharply struck, this Select Mint State example displays mostly orange tone over surfaces that possess moderate underlying reflectivity. Very few marks appear on either side as well, which imparts an appearance that is undoubtedly high-end for the grade. Estimate: $7,000 - $10,000. Provenance: From the Stephen K. Scher Collection.
