Lot Description

1841 Liberty Half Eagle. AU-58 (NGC). Traces of luster survive in the fields and the strike is sharp. Moderate handling marks in the form of tiny ticks are present on both sides, as nearly always encountered. There are small fragments of verdigris in the devices and lettering from circulation as well. Scarce in high grades but obtainable with patience.
