Lot Description

The Michael Scot Collection. Here is a surpassingly white type quarter that looks like it was struck out of an Arctic iceberg. Being completely free from the encumbrance of toning, one can easily view the superlative details, seemingly struck fully by the dies. The coin appears like a "gem" under quick scrutiny, but some minor greyish stains affect the reverse.
