- 1787 Connecticut Copper. Miller 6.1-M, W-2820. Rarity-1. Mailed Bust Left, Laughing Head. VF-30. 127.5 grains. Deep golden tan surfaces -- this variety is mostly found on deep brown planchets. Nicely centered on both sides. Natural fissures throughout the obverse, old shallow mark across cheek, reverse equally fissured, no other marks present. Nicely struck and aesthetically appealing.
