Lot Description

Tompkins Die Stage 2/1. A generally silver gray example with hints of olive-russet engaging some of the peripheral devices, especially on the obverse. Portions of the border denticulation are faint to absent, but all major design elements are bold. Smooth in the absence of sizeable marks, this is a suitable mid-grade Flowing Hair half dollar for circulated type purposes.
