This beautiful upper end Gem is vividly toned in a combination of cobalt-blue and deep purple iridescence with an even medium blue reverse. Intensely mirrored in the fields, the devices are fully struck with billowy mint frost. This is certainly among the finest certified survivors from a Proof mintage of 912 coins for the 1900 Barber quarter, a popular issue as a turn-of-the-century date.
