- 1829 Capped Bust Dime. JR-2. Rarity-2. Square-Base 2, Large 10C. MS-65 (NGC). CAC. Modestly semi-prooflike in sheen, what dominates the outward appearance of this coin is richly original toning in pinkish-silver, steel-gray, pale-blue and copper-orange colors. Razor sharp in strike, and smooth enough to evoke thoughts of an even higher grade. PQ!
