Lot Description

1787 Auctori Plebis Token. W-8770. VF-30 (PCGS). OGH. Deep brown with olive highlights and lively in-hand appearance. The surfaces proffer a glossy look, with no marks to assail the unassisted eye and with the overall look of a finer grade. Typical reverse, rim tight to much of the peripheral legend and bottoms of date numerals, full-blown arcing die crack in place around Liberty's figure. Choice for the grade and type in our opinion. PCGS# 601.
