A fantastic survivor from the 950 Proofs originally struck, and this upper end Gem is among the very finest certified in the PCGS non-Cameo designation. Rich olive-blue and coppery-rose patina blankets the obverse with strong underlying cobalt blue iridescence, while the reverse exhibits more reserved pewter gray backlit by cobalt blue and reddish-apricot. Well struck and nicely composed, this pristine-looking example is perfect for a high quality type or date set.
