A miraculous SUPERB 45-S half tied for FINEST graded at either service. The eye appeal is stunning! Incredible surfaces are essentially flawless and pristine! Even when we put a strong glass to it, we were stunned to find NOTHING worthy of mention. Aside from a tiny mark on the dreaded right field, this coin is near technical perfection! A bold luster gleams and billows from all over the satiny smooth surfaces and has a vivid mint brilliance. A band of visually seductive rainbow toning frames the right side of the obverse periphery. Generally well struck overall with just some minor softness at the extreme centers of the design types. The eye appeal is awesome! PCGS 2, NGC 2. Only a PCGS/CAC example has ever sold, realizing $17,038 in our October 2017 Regency Auction. That coin had a similar look overall. A great looking coin for a great set. Cert.
