- 1898 Barber Half Dollar. Proof-64 Deep Cameo (PCGS). Field-to-device contrast is particularly pronounced for the reverse, although the obverse still readily upholds the DCAM designation from PCGS. Lightly toned about the rims, with a razor-sharp strike throughout. A definite Gem were it not for a few wispy hairlines on the obverse.
