详细说明

A more available Massachusetts cent variety in high grades, and this PCGS-certified Choice AU example would do particularly well in a type set. Both sides are sharply defined from a generally well centered impression, although we note that the obverse denticulation is missing at left, and that at lower left reverse is thinner than elsewhere on that side. Generally toned in warm walnut-brown, faint traces of faded mint orange color are discernible in the protected areas as the coin turns into direct lighting. The texture is hard and frosty, the surfaces free of both detracting flan flaws and handling marks. There is, however, a thin film of powdery residue on much of the obverse that, when combined with light rub to the central obverse high points, separates this coin from a BU assessment.
