FROM THE SEATTLE COLLECTION Not only is this coin GORGEOUS, it is also super neat! Struck with an errant 1 from the date punch protruding from the front of Miss Liberty’s neck. The luster on this coin is so thick and frosty it looks like icing! Exquisite eye appeal and sharp design details. A small planchet depression is noted near the E of AMERICA. A prize for the variety specialist! PCGS 29, NGC 15, CAC 14. This coin sold in 2005 for $2,300 without the CAC sticker. It is important to note that there are only 3 of the variety that grade finer at PCGS, all of which are MS67, and one of the pieces sold in October 2015 for $19,388!
