로트 설명

1851 Seated Liberty Dime. MS-65 (PCGS). The website <a href=""http://www.seateddimevarieties.com"">www.seateddimevarieties.com states of the 1851-P:

This date is fairly common in grade Good through VF, but becomes scarce VF or better. Underrated in AU and Mint State grades at current CoinValue values.

Indeed, this is the first Gem-quality survivor that this cataloger can remember handling in recent sales. A Condition Census piece, the obverse is dressed in ""old-silver"" patina while the reverse exhibits bolder toning in sea-green and copper-gray colors. Both sides are fully struck, lustrous and silent on the subject of detracting abrasions. An important bidding opportunity for the advanced collector of Seated Liberty coinage.
