Here is a wholly original GEM RB example of this late date 2 cent piece. This RB is mostly RED with just a touch of subtle mellowing. The luster swirls boldly over the lovely surfaces. There are some original toning dots that can be found with a glass, but they do not detract from the great lustrous eye appeal. PCGS 44, NGC 37, CAC 20. The most recent example to sell in auction realized $1,560 in December 2019 and prior to that, one sold in July 2018 for $1,620. The current CAC CPG value is $2,160 and the PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,100. As a date, these are quite scarce in RED, so a 95% red RB like this is a great example. Cert.
