로트 설명

BB Die State II, Salyards Die State II. An ideally centered, otherwise boldly defined example with minor softness of strike to the top of Liberty's head and around the junction of the eagle's talons and clouds. Wear is light, as befits the assigned grade, and there are no sizeable marks. This coin has been lightly cleaned, the surfaces with faint hairlines and a touch of glossiness to the texture, but it is retoning nicely in iridescent gold that appears to drift toward the borders. Bowers-Borckardt 73 is the sole die marriage associated with the Stars 9x7, Large Letters Guide Book variety of the 1797 silver dollar, and it is the median scarcity among the three known die pairings of the issue.
