1893 Barber Half Dollar. Proof-64 (PCGS). This richly original example exhibits dominant mauve and steel-olive patina to the obverse, while the reverse is dressed in equally bold steel-olive toning. Direct lighting calls forth iridescent undertones of cobalt blue that are more pronounced on the latter side.
