Virtually flawless! This is a gorgeous example that is tied for second FINEST graded at PCGS. We carefully inspected both sides of this SUPERB GEM with a powerful glass and found only two of the most trivial marks that would keep it out of a higher grade holder and tied for finest known status. A bold luster radiates boldly enlivening a pale blue and delicate golden tone that blankets both sides. The strike is crisp, the repunched mintmark feature is crisp and clear. All in all, a stunning example worthy of a fabulous collection. PCGS 38, NGC 21. The last two non-CAC PCGS-graded examples sold back in the 2019 ANA auction, both realizing $2,400.
