로트 설명

1856 Flying Eagle Cent. Snow-9. Proof-66 (NGC). The United States' first small-size Cent, and a perennial favorite since the year it was first proposed to Congressional leaders, the 1856 Flying Eagle always numbers among the highlights of whatever collection in which an example is included. The coin we offer here is important not only because of its historical significance and absolute scarcity, but also because it is a rare piece from a condition standpoint. Among the finest-certified survivors known to PCGS and NGC, this impressive Gem exhibits the razor-sharp sharp and modestly reflective fields that characterize the Snow-9 die marriage. Bathed in rich antique-copper patina, the surfaces are silent on the subject of even trivial blemishes. Destined for inclusion in a world-class cabinet.
