(t) CHINA. Szechuan. 7 Mace 2 Candareens (Dollar), ND (1901-08). PCGS Genuine--Cleaned, EF Details. L&M-346; K-143r; KM-Y-238.3; WS-0731. Variety with "3 CANDAREENS" error. A RARE and sought after error type, in which a "3" appears to have bene engraved over the expected "2," ultimately rendering the wrong--and slightly higher--denomination. Lightly cleaned as noted, but starting to develop a deep color and with clear details throughout. Estimate: $1,000 - $2,000.
