- 1851 Gold Dollar. MS-65+ (NGC). A frosty and boldly lustrous Gem with pale olive highlights and exceptional eye appeal. The strike is bold throughout save for a hint of weakness at the tops of 85 in the date. Tied for finest + example of the date certified by NGC, and rightfully so in our eyes. PCGS# 7513. NGC Census: 2; none finer within the + designation.
