Lot Description

Die State 117.1. Blushes of reddish-russet and olive in the protected areas enhance otherwise warm pewter and pinkish-gray patina. This piece is sharply struck in all but a few isolated areas, and with smooth billowy luster it will do nicely in a Mint State type set to represent the Lettered Edge Capped Bust half dollar. Just shy of Condition Census for the 1824 Overton-117 dies.
